Payment or Co-pay is due at time of service. I accept cash, check, or credit card.
Insurance
I am currently an in-network provider with Cigna and CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield (PPO plans).
It is your responsibility to check with your insurance plan regarding reimbursement amounts, number of sessions allowed, deductibles and co-payments.
If you have another insurance plan you might be eligible for out-of-network benefits for mental health services, and fees may be reimbursable by your insurance carrier. Many clients have out-of-network benefits and receive significant reimbursement from their insurance company. I provide my clients with a statement at the end of each month that they can submit to insurance for reimbursement.
I recommend that you contact your insurance provider prior to our first meeting and find out what your benefits would be and any other policies specific to your insurance company. The Insurance Reimbursement Information document has a list of suggested questions for you to ask your insurance carrier to gather information about your coverage.
